Prakalapakorn and Weinert are consultants for Sanofi Inc on a project that has no relation to the topic, design, or conduct of this research. Drs. Freedman and Wallace developed the technology (ROPtool) used in this study. At the time this study was conducted, ROPtool had been purchased by FocusROP, which no longer holds this license for ROPtool. If ROPtool is commercially successful in the future, the developers and Duke University may benefit financially.
