Abstract:Electron transport behaviour in InSb semiconductor significantly changes when the conduction is restricted to two-dimensions. Semiconductor materials are an effective tools to characterize the electron transport in this aspect because the energy separation between transverse modes in a low-dimensional semiconductor device are always inversely proportional to the effective mass, in the same way as for sub-bands in a parabolic potential. Therefore, in this article, a range of novel device geometries were designe… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
