Quasi-static axial crushing of honeycomb paperboard filled with foam particles

Abstract: In this paper a honeycomb paperboard filled with foam particles is presented. The effect of parameters such as the cell size, the honeycomb paperboard thickness and the foam particles size on the interaction, energy absorption capacity, and the half wavelength are investigated theoretically and experimentally.
