Abstract: L'essor de la logique répressive sécuritaire, qui se traduit par une emprise toujours plus grande et toujours plus inflexible du pouvoir répressif sur le citoyen invite à s'interroger sur l'héritage contemporain de la défense sociale nouvelle et ses appels à la modération et l'humanisation de la répression.
