Abstract: Este artigo analisa a questão agrária e os processos de luta pela terra e pela reforma agrária no estado de Goiás, no contexto da ocupação e das transformações territoriais. Analisam-se as fases do processo de ocupação, a formação do território goiano e a invasão e tomada dos territórios indígenas, visando a formação dos latifúndios e o fortalecimento do poder dos coronéis e “senhores da terra”.
