he coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic limited traditional on-site practicum experiences and accelerated the use of other pedagogical techniques for teaching students. 1,2 Collaboration and information sharing among faculty have brought to light innovative educational approaches that are now being used to prepare the next generation of clinical nurse specialist (CNS) students as leaders in an increasingly complex clinical world. The purpose of this column is to explore some of these innovative techniques to support educational experiences planned for CNS students.
