Quinazoline alkylthio derivative targets norepinephrine and calcitonin gene-related peptide to improve behavior and radiographic score in the rat model of cervical vertigo
Abstract:The present study investigated the effect of quinazoline alkylthio derivative (QAD) on cervical vertigo in the rat model and explored the underlying mechanism. Treatment of the cervical vertigo rats with QAD led to a significant (P<0.05) improvement in balance beam score compared to the model group. Cervical vertigo-mediated reduction in CGRP level in rat plasma samples was effectively inhibited on treatment with QAD.
