Abstract:The objective of this study is to describe the micrographic characteristics of 11 medicinal plants used in the traditional care of schistosomiasis in the Health District of Adzopé (Côte d'Ivoire). These species were selected on the basis of their heritage value. The methodology is based on a microscopic description of the plant powders after observation under the microscope.
