Abstract: Morgan et al. used national population-based cohorts to compare the outcomes for children born in the three countries between 22 and 26 weeks of gestation. The authors suggest that a major explanation for the differences could be variations in societal choices between the countries. Greisen delves deeper into the possible explanations in his accompanying editorial. 2
