“…Complications of radial nerve are very rare, authors around the world also rarely encounter this complication. T. Waitzenegger and P. Mansat pointed out that 2 cases of radial nerve injury are caused by the leakage of cement through the bone causing heating and irritation of the radial nerve and another cause by stretching or contraction the radial nerve [11] .…”

“…Primary traumatic RNP is the most common injury associated with shaft fractures of the humerus with an incidence of 11,8% [ 2 ]. Secondary traumatic and/or iatrogentic radial nerve damage after surgery (open reduction and internal plate fixation, intramedullary nailing, total elbow arthroplasties) may occur in up to 32% of patients who undergo surgical treatments at the humerus [ 3 , 4 ]. Iatrogenic RNP was observed in single cases after venipuncture, automatic blood pressure measurement, intramuscular injections and external fixation of the elbow as well [ 5 - 8 ].…”

Mansat chỉ ra 2 nguyên nhân gây ra tổn thương thần kinh quay là do sự rò rỉ xi măng qua xương gây nóng hoặc kích thích thần kinh quay và nguyên nhân nữa là do sự căng giãn hoặc co rút của phần mềm [8].…”
