Abstract:In this work, the effects of thermal radiation and heat generation on a free convective flow of an incompressible fluid through a porous medium with a periodic surface temperature and first order chemical reaction is investigated. Rosseland approximation was adopted to describe the radiative heat flux. The heat generation is linearly dependent on the temperature. The dimensionless coupled nonlinear partial differential equations were reduced to ordinary differential equations and solved analytically using asym… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
