Abstract:In this editorial, I would like to comment on the article, recently published in the World Journal of Clinical Oncology . The article focuses on non-surgical treatments for locally recurrent rectal cancer, including the watch-and-wait (WW) strategy after total neoadjuvant therapy (TNT) and particle beam therapy.
