Radiofrequency-induced hyperthermia: computer simulation of specific absorption rate distributions using realistic anatomical models

Abstract: A description is given of a computer simulation technique which predicts the specific absorption rate (SAR) distribution within the human body resulting from the application of radiofrequency electromagnetic energy.
