Rainfall drives atmospheric ice-nucleating particles in the coastal climate of southern Norway

“…Mason et al (2016) report similar observations in Alert, Canada, where 95% and 70% of INPs were found at sizes > 1 μm and > 2.5 μm in diameter, respectively, and a median diameter of approximately 3 μm for all INPs at -15 ˚C.
