Rancangan Sumur Resapan Air Hujan sebagai Upaya Pengurangan Limpasan di Kampung Babakan, Cibinong, Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract: Land use change due to housing construction can indirectly damage the water catchment area. This resulted in a decrease in the area of rainwater absorption that caused rain water collected on existing drainage channels. This study aims to analyze the number and dimensions of infiltration wells in reducing the volume of inundation and determine the value of effectiveness reduction of runoff. The infiltration wells was used to collect rainwater and absorb it into the soil. Based on the calculation in Babakan Vil… Show more

“…Infiltration wells are means to collect rainwater and seep it into the ground. Rainwater that falls on the roof of the house is not channeled into the gutter or yard but is channeled using pipes or drains into the well to reduce the amount of runoff that occurs (Bahunta & Waspodo, 2019).…”

“…The cause of lack of channel capacity can result from the inadequate condition of the existing secondary channel due to developments that cause a bottleneck in the existing channel. The problem of flooding must be addressed immediately to improve environmental quality with the first step, namely analyzing the capacity of the drainage channel (Bahunta & Waspodo, 2019;Bai et al, 2018;Prasetyo & Widiyanto, 2009).…”

“…Reduced rainwater catchment areas can cause rainwater to collect in existing drainage channels. The increased volume of surface water entering the drainage channel will cause overflow of water in the channel so that puddles arise and allow flooding (Bahunta & Waspodo, 2019). This condition often occurs at several road points in Arosuka City in the rainy season, there is a large enough surface because it experiences a deep enough puddle.…”
