Randomized clinical trial of Ligasure™versus conventional diathermy for day-case haemorrhoidectomy

Abstract: Ligasure diathermy may be used safely in the treatment of patients with grade III or IV haemorrhoids. It reduces intraoperative blood loss and operating time, and facilitates same-day discharge.
