Rapastinel as a non‐opioid treatment for opioid dependence

Abstract: An increasing number of opioid overdose deaths have resulted from the rising availability of both prescription and nonprescription opioids. Pharmacotherapies, such as buprenorphine and methadone, are used to treat those dependent on opioids.
