Rapid and sensitive detection of waterfowl mycoplasmas using TaqMan assays

Abstract: Waterfowl-specific mycoplasmas cause significant economic losses worldwide. However, only limited resources are available for the specific detection of three such bacteria, Mycoplasma anatis, M. anseris and M. cloacale.
