Rapid determination of influenza vaccine potency by an SPR-based method using subtype or lineage-specific monoclonal antibodies

Abstract: Potency testing and release of annual influenza vaccines require preparation, calibration, and distribution of reference antigens (RAs) and antisera every year, which takes an average of 8 to 12 weeks, and can be a major limiting factor in pandemic situations.
