“…The rapid estimate of adult literacy in medicine (REALM‐66), which has been used previously with hospitalized patients, 13 was used to assess literacy. Personnel with minimal training can administer and score the REALM‐66 in 3 to 5 minutes with a test‐retest reliability of 0.99 14 .
