Rapid identification of chemical constituents of Chaihu‐jia‐Longgu‐Muli decoction based on ultra‐performance liquid chromatography‐quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry coupled with the UNIFI platform

Tong Wu,
Yin Liu,
Hanshuo Dong
et al.

Abstract: Chaihu‐jia Longgu‐Muli decoction (CLMD) is a traditional Chinese medicine formula, and it has been used for more than a thousand years to treat mental and nervous system diseases. However, the active constitutions of the CLMD are unclear. Accordingly, an integrated analysis based on the ultra‐performance liquid chromatography‐quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry method combined with the UNIFI platform was used to clarify the chemical composition of the CLMD. As a result, 102 compounds including 38 sapon… Show more

“…The base peak intensity chromatograms of the CLMD is shown in Figure 2. Along with the previous study's results (Wu et al, 2023), we compared the mass spectrometry data of blank and administered sera, and identified 21 components in the blood, including 12 saponins, five flavones, two anthraquinones and two amino acids. These 21 prototype compounds can be detected at different time points and the details are shown in Table 1.…”
