Rapid Identification of Paragonimiasis Foci by Lay Informants in Lao People's Democratic Republic

Abstract: BackgroundParagonimiasis is a food-borne trematodiasis leading to lung disease. Worldwide, an estimated 21 million people are infected. Foci of ongoing transmission remain often unnoticed.
