Abstract:Enteroviruses cause significant morbidity and mortality worldwide, and Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3) is one of the most commonly reported. Coxsackieviruses establish persistent infection, characterized as infection that is not cleared from host cells generating a continuous infection.
