Rapid ultrasound‐assisted microextraction of atorvastatin in the sample of blood plasma by nickel metal organic modified with alumina nanoparticles

Abstract: In the present work, nickel-1,4-benzenedioxyacetic acid was synthesized as a rod-like metal organic material and then modified with alumina nanoparticles to synthesize nickel metal organic modified-Al 2 O 3 nanoparticles. The material was found as an efficient sorbent for the enrichment of atorvastatin in human blood plasma. After the extraction of the sample of plasma by ultrasound-assisted dispersive solid phase extraction, high performance liquid chromatographyultraviolet was used to determine the quantitat… Show more

“…SUPRAS increases extraction efficiency by interacting with molecules and decreasing the extraction time. The amount of mixing alkanol and THF used in the formation of SUPRAS is very important [25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32]. According to our knowledge, microextraction studies of Sudan I with supramolecular solvents have not been performed before.…”

“…Biological fluids such as blood samples are complex matrices, and antifungal drugs are present in such matrices at trace levels making analysis troublous without the sample pretreatment procedures. So, there is a demand for the employment of sample preparation methods before any instrumental analysis to cleanup and preconcentration [7]. Efforts for finding more efficient, eco-friendly, rapid, and economical sample preparation methods have led to the development of miniaturized extraction methods.…”
