Rapidly growing right atrial myxoma in an older patient with advanced chronic kidney disease: a case report

Abstract: Background Right atrial myxoma is a rare cardiac tumor, with few reports on its growth rate. Case presentation We found a right atrial myxoma in a male patient in his 80s with chronic kidney disease on the second echocardiogram that was performed for the creation of an arteriovenous fistula at 9 months after the initial echocardiogram, which showed no evidence of myxoma.
