Rare Booms and Disasters in a Multi-Sector Endowment Economy

Abstract: Why do value stocks have higher average returns than growth stocks, despite having lower risk? Why do these stocks exhibit positive abnormal performance while growth stocks exhibit negative abnormal performance?
