Rare complication of nadroparin injections: skin necrosis and heparin-induced thrombocytopenia syndrome

Abstract: We described a rare case of nadroparin-induced skin necrosis with thrombocytopenia.LMWH therapy is used in thrombosis prophylaxis, it is important to recognize that skin necrosis can be a part of HIT early in its course and change heparin or LMWH to non-heparin anticoagulants such as director thrombin III inhibitors.
