“…These indicators turned out to be somewhat lower than in the individuals in AR (Table 2). In this region, according to the authors, R. rosea was subjected to severe stress associated with anthropogenic impact (unregulated harvesting of rhizomes) [10].…”

“…In relation to the conservation issue of R. rosea, it is necessary to study the state of the species' coenopopulations within its natural range. Assessment of the biological features, ontogenetic, ecological, and phytocenotic structure of R. rosea populations has previously been conducted in the southern Urals and in the highlands of eastern Kazakhstan (EK) [10,11]. However, we are presenting the first study of the variability of the morphostructure traits of the aboveground part of the mature plants of this species in natural cenopopulations (CP) in the Altai Republic.…”

“…The stages of morphogenesis of the species and the maximum age of wild populations of R. rosea are also poorly studied (Brinckmann et al 2021 ). The studies of many Russian scientists are devoted to the study of ecological and botanical proper-ties, distribution, ontogeny of populations (Sofronov et al 2016 ; Valuiskih et al 2017 ; Panossian et al 2010 ; Yakubov et al 2019 ; Shadrin et al 2020 ). A relatively fewer population ecological studies of R. rosea were performed in Europe and North America (Olfelt et al 2014; Aiello et al 2013 ), however, the research on genetic diversity and phylogeography of populations are well represented (György et al 2012 ; György et al 2013 ; György et al 2014 ; Soni et al 2010 ; Kozyrenko et al 2018 ).…”

“…Despite the great interest in the golden root and extensive research in the eld of phytochemistry, plant biotechnology remained less studied and widely used (Li et al, 2019;Olsson et al, 2009). Studies of many Russian scientists are devoted to the study of ecological and botanical characteristics, distribution, ontogeny of populations (Sofronov et al, 2016;Valuiskih et al, 2017;Panossian et al, 2010;Yakubov et al, 2019;Shadrin et al, 2020). Relatively fewer ecological-population studies of Rh.…”
