Abstract: Spectroscopic properties of the infrared (IR) emission of trivalent holmium (Ho 3+ ) dopedpotassium lead bromide have been investigated. Following optical excitation at ~ 907nm, severalIR emissions were observed at room temperature with wavelengths around 1.07, 1.20, 1.35, 1.70,2.00, 2.90, and 3.96μm.
