Abstract:Background: Combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) is the cornerstone of managing patients with HIV infection. Once cART is initiated, patients generally remain on medications indefinitely. However, antiretroviral regimens commonly require changes which often involve switches of multiple medications simultaneously.
