Ratio of the Isovector Spin-Flip to Nonflip Effective Interaction from 0  (p, n) Scattering

Abstract: 779Relativistic analyses of the ratio of the isovector spin-flip to nonspin-flip effective NN interaction strength from the Gamow-Teller and Fermi transitions in O' (p, n) scattering are performed using the factorized relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation. Our relativistic calculation using the NN interaction with a pseudoscalar coupling is similar to the nonrelativistic result.
