“…The DRM catalytic activity of Ni/Mg/Al hydrotalcite-derived catalysts promoted with Ru was studied by Tsyganok et al [96]. The addition of small amounts of Ru into the catalyst structure by means of a reconstruction method had a highly positive effect on the catalytic performance.…”

“…Preliminary calcination hydrotalcite was shown to markedly affect catalytic behaviour of the derived catalysts and especially their coking capacity. Among all the bimetallic catalysts tested, a Ru0.1%-Ni5.0%/MgAlO x appeared to be the most attractive for the dry reforming of methane because it demonstrated the highest activity and selectivity to syngas, no any induction time when generated in situ, a suitable durability and a low coking capacity [57].…”

“…The beneficial effect on the stability may be ascribed to the presence of CeO 2 , which reacts with carbon deposited to produce Ce 2 O 3 and CO 2 [20]. Other additions studied as promoters to hydrotalcite-derived catalytic systems containing Ni in DRM included lanthanum [24][25][26], cobalt [27][28][29], rhodium [30], ruthenium [27] and zirconium [31].…”
