Abstract:Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) are emerging human pathogens linked to severe pulmonary diseases. Current treatments involve the prolonged use of multiple drugs and are often ineffective. Bacterial dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) is a key enzyme targeted by antibiotics in Gram-negative bacterial infections.
