Abstract:Neonates with congenital heart disease (CHD) and ductal‐dependent pulmonary blood flow (DD‐PBF) require early intervention. Historically, this intervention was most often a surgical systemic‐to‐pulmonary shunt (SPS; e.g., Blalock–Thomas–Taussig shunt).
