RCT of a Mentoring and Skills Group Program: Placement and Permanency Outcomes for Foster Youth

Abstract: WHAT'S KNOWN ON THIS SUBJECT: Children in foster care are at elevated risk for adverse outcomes. Placement instability and failure to achieve timely permanence exacerbate that risk. A handful of studies have found that parent-management training is effective in promoting placement stability and timely permanence.
