Re(dis)covering the recent: Surveying settlements and society in central Oman from the 17th to the 20th centuries

Abstract: Mudbrick settlements are a common sight in central Oman and are often attributed to the Yaʿariba and al‐Busaydī periods. They have been the subject of study of different projects in the past, providing a good basis for understanding the settlements.
