Abstract: This task may prove to be difficult. PPS, which has a molecular structure similar to glycosaminoglycans, is thought to have numerous biological activities. In vitro studies have demonstrated anti-inflammatory, fibrinolytic, and anticoagulant properties among others, with myriad of putative molecular mechanisms.
