Abstract: Organo-phosphorus compounds S 0080Reaction Between N-(Thio)phosphoryl Imines and Diethylzinc. -For imines (I), bearing at least one P-O single bond, the reduction product (II) is formed in excellent yield in the nonpolar solvent toluene. In a polar solvent, (II) is accompanied by partial formation of the alkylation product of type (IV).
