Reaction of iron with monoeth anolamine

Abstract: The deterioration of ethanolamine used in absorption plant is attributed principally to the formation of complexes of iron and ethanolamine. These salts have been isolated and synthesized their constitution, properties and the effect of their presence on the absorption process are discussed.
