“…A spectroscopic analysis of a range of (p, d) data for lp shell nuclei has been carried out by the Orsay group (Bachelier et al 1966b, d, Detraz 1964 and they find that reasonable magnitude agreement is obtained using the spectroscopic factors calculated from the fractional parentage coefficients tabulated by Cohen andKurath (1965, 1967). An analysis (Towner 1966) of the data, in the lp shell has also been carried out in terms of the Nilsson model, and this indicates (Jackson 1966unpublished, reported by Towner 1966 that the (p, d) reaction at this energy is very sensitive to the amount of band mixing.…”
