Abstract

It is recognished that the properties of the metal complexes of phasphorus doner ligands 1,3 are markedly affected by the electronic and steric effects of the substituents on Phasphorus. However, investigations on the electronic and steric effects in metal complexes of arsenic donar ligands have been lacking. Recently reactions of [Ru (η 5-C 5 H 5) (PPh 3) 2 Cl] with source aromatic thioamides (R 1 CSNHCOR 2) have been reported 4.
