“…Reactive Arthritis Out of 30 reactive arthritis (ReA) patients, the majority presented with oligoarthritis (17,56%) [121], followed by monoarthritis (7, 23%) [9,29,69,97,98,107,135], and polyarthritis (6,20%) [86,98,158,169]. Among the patients with monoarthritis, four had knee joints affected [9,97,98,135], two had elbow joints affected [69,107], and one had ankle joints affected [29]. “…Reactive arthritis (ReA), previously referred to as Reiter's syndrome, is a type of seronegative spondyloarthritis (SpA) classically caused by genitourinary and gastrointestinal infections, but ReA can also develop after intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) therapy, COVID-19, and certain vaccinations [1–5,6 ▪▪ ,7–11]. ReA typically resolves within 3–5 months, but a fraction of patients develop chronic arthritis and up to 40% develop sacroiliitis, erosive arthritis, or iritis [1,12].…”

“…Recent reports have surfaced regarding cases of autoimmune diseases following the administration of the Sputnik vaccine. These include reactive arthritis, thrombocytopenia, thrombosis, severe eczema, and neurological manifestations such as Bell's palsy and demyelinating diseases or relapses of multiple sclerosis, among others [8][9][10][11][12]. The mechanisms underlying the development of adverse effects like thrombosis due to the Sputnik vaccine remain unclear but may be similar to those proposed for the AstraZeneca vaccine (AstraZeneca: AZ, Cambridge, UK).…”
