Abstract: This study numerically investigated the combustion instability and characteristics of a laboratory-scale gaseous hydrogen-fueled scramjet combustor. For this purpose, a numerical simulation with an improved detached eddy simulation and a detailed hydrogen/oxygen reaction mechanism was performed.
