Abstract: Yttrium-doped barium zirconate is a commonly used electrolyte material for Protonic Ceramic Fuel Cells (PCFC) due to its high protonic conductivity and high chemical stability. However, it is also known for its poor sinterability and poor grain boundary conductivity.
