Reactive power compensation for sustainable development of power grids in cities of Uzbekistan

Abstract: The article deals with relevant and much needed at this stage problems of reconstruction and modernization of urban power supply systems and issues of energy saving in urban power grids. For the first time, it is proposed to carry out energy saving in the residential and public sectors of the residential zone of cities on the basis of reactive power compensation.
