An increasing emphasis on holistic development in students has sparked interest in the impact of arts-based curriculum and teaching approaches in the field of education. Arts education has been shown to increase students' creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. Although the potential benefits of arts education are widely recognised, more in-depth empirical studies are needed to examine its impact on student achievement and academic performance. In order to better understand how art-based instruction and curriculum affect secondary vocational school students' artistic proficiency and academic achievement, a quantitative study was conducted. Both the moderating effect of learning styles and the mediation impact of cross-disciplinary links were intended to be investigated. A quantitative, cross-sectional research design was used for the study. A systematic sampling procedure was used to choose a sample of 384 secondary vocational school students. Participants filled out questionnaires to assess their artists ability, academic achievement, learning methods, and the extent to which cross-disciplinary links were present in their educational experiences. The Amos software was used to analyze the data, which included mediation and moderation analyses. The findings suggest that cross -disciplinary connections have an important mediating role in the relationship between arts curricula, instructional models, students' competencies, and academic achievement. In these interactions, learning styles were identified as moderators, highlighting the necessity for personalized instructional tactics.

Objective: The objective of this review is to synthesize the existing literature on how theater has been used as a knowledge translation approach for health research and to identify the outcome measures employed for evaluation and the facilitators/challenges related to this approach. Introduction: The use of arts-based knowledge translation methods is relatively new in health research but has already shown to have positive impacts on knowledge, attitudes, policy, and practice. Specifically, theater has proven to be an effective approach for communicating research findings in a way which stimulates thought and discussion on important health-related topics. Inclusion criteria: This review will include scholarly literature on how theater is being used as a knowledge translation approach for health research. The review will not impose any limitations related to demographic variables, health issues, or settings. The review will consider papers using any study design, and will also consider other literature, such as protocols, descriptive papers, unpublished papers, and evaluation reports. Methods: This review will be conducted in accordance with the JBI methodology for scoping reviews. The databases to be searched will include CINAHL (EBSCOhost), Embase, MEDLINE (Ovid), Academic Search Premier (EBSCOhost), and Scopus. Google/Google Scholar and ProQuest Dissertations and Theses will also be searched for unpublished studies and gray literature. All literature identified in the search will be screened by 2 independent reviewers and the results will be presented in a Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) flow diagram. The data extracted from the included literature will be presented in both tabular and narrative format. A educação de jovens e adultos (EJA) é uma modalidade de ensino destinadas a jovens, adultos e idosos que não tiveram a oportunidade de concluir seus estudos na escola convencional e em idade apropriado. O trabalho foi desenvolvido da EJA da cidade de Apucarana, e teve como foco a realização de uma reflexão sobre a maneira como o aluno percebe e entende a arte por meio de jogos observados, jogos estes que são atividades desenvolvidas para estimular a ampliação deste campo da arte, das possíveis interações que hoje podemos fazer no processo de criação artística. A cultura visual, torna-se um campo de estudo que tem emergido da confluência de diferentes espaços como a sociologia, a semiótica, os estudos culturais e a história da arte. Os discentes realizaram os trabalhos orientados a refletir sobre os valores sócios culturais de cada povo, inter-relacionar o universo da arte e o universo da moda, de maneira que a cultura visual possa fazer parte das abordagens de ensino. Ao pesquisar suas culturas, puderam observam as semelhanças e diferenças culturais. Portanto, alunos de diferentes faixas etárias, puderam entender como os elementos presentes em sua cultura carrega diferentes significações.
