Real‐Time Ratings

Abstract: Real‐time rating (RTR) is a method for the analysis and understanding of communication and its cognitive processing by individuals. RTR measures the spontaneous impression formation of individuals while they are exposed to media content. RTR is best used in combination with other methods such as content analysis, surveys, and psychophysiological measurements. Due to the technological progress in the field of computerization and network technology, RTR can now be applied more easily than ever before.
