Real time ultrasound image denoising using NVIDIA CUDA

Abstract: The steel sheet surface image denoising problem is addressed based on powerful parallel computing of GPU. We present some experiments comparing three denoising methods of original median filtering, improved median filtering and mean filtering. The experiment result shows that the proposed methods perform more efficiently compared with traditional method of CPU.
