Realization and development of a laboratory simulating system of a girth gear / common shaft ac drive used in cement industry

Abstract: To investigate the behavior of a high power electric drive system, the development of a corresponding low power simulating system is useful. In this way a flexible operation study of an electromechanical system can be easily realised, and so solutions for functional improvements can be proposed. In this paper the development of a simulating system with dual ac drive used to rotate kiln in cement industry is presented.
