This paper focuses on the characterization of future wireless smartphone communication networks. This paper is focused on the evolution of the 5th generation smartphone network. 5th generation wireless networks was designed to be a perfect network on nationwide without any obstacles or limitations on accessing handling data than earlier generations. With 5G networks, users will surely notice a big change when accessing their phones experiencing a new edge of call volume. Many services in various fields will be offered to the users through 5G technologies such as Documentation, supporting electronic transactions (e-Payments, etransactions). This paper reviews an introduction to 5G along with a brief description of the evolution of 5G wireless network. It highlights all earlier generations of smartphone communication comparing them with fifth generation technology. It focuses on network architecture of 5th wireless technology as well. The paper also illustrates why there is a need for 5G along with some applications of 5G wireless communication. 5G wireless network technologies will add a new dimension to the users who accessing their Mobile Radio Communication (MRC), which provides them an advantage over preceded smartphone networks.

Abstract-The increasing uptake of Internet of Things (IoT), Big data and cloud-based services introduces a new set of requirements for network performance. Furthermore, the evolution of mobile networks towards an all-IP 4G LTE introduces new challenges for traditional voice and data services. It is critical for operators to guarantee minimum levels of performance. Therefore, operators need to understand and manage both quality and performance of the services to fulfill on the technical quality of service (QoS) as well as on the quality of experience (QoE) level. 4G LTE broadband mobile technologies have been designed with different QoS (Quality of Service) frameworks to enable delivery of the evolving Internet applications. Specifically, it is fundamental requirement to provide satisfactory service delivery to users and also to manage network resources. To provide QoS, different service levels are specified for different types or stream of traffic in term of throughput, latency (delay), jitter (delay variation) and packet errors or loss. This paper aims to provide a basic principle of QoS of the 4G LTE service. The impact of QoS parameter on QoE such as real-time and video communication services is discussed in this paper. QoS for 5G and M2M networks is also discussed in this paper as a future research.Index Terms-Quality of service (QoS), quality of experience (QoE), 4G, LTE, mobile, subscriber.

Abstract-Machine-to-Machine Communication (M2M) enables communication between heterogeneous devices without human intervention. It is considered to be a key enabler technology for the concept of Internet of Things (IoT) and Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). With M2M's integration with Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), information from different kinds sensors can be obtained. In order to discover useful knowledge from sensor data, various data mining techniques need to be applied. Due to the development of microprocessors on end devices in M2M system which collect data from sensors, data processing can also be executed on those devices. However, since end devices are often battery powered, energy consumption when running those algorithms needs to be taken into account. In this paper we implement an algorithm in M2M system, on Libelium Waspmote devices, which detects temperature plummeting in an indoor space. Afterwards, energy consumption of Waspmote devices is analyzed for two cases: when algorithm is executed on-device and when algorithm is executed on gateway or on back-end system.
